The Department of B.Com (PA) organized an enriching industrial visit to Vagamon with the objective of providing students with practical exposure beyond the classroom environment. Known for its scenic beauty and eco-friendly plantations, Vagamon offered an ideal setting for experiential learning and observation.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to explore plantation-based industries and gain insights into the processes involved in tea, coffee, and spice cultivation. The visit enabled them to understand various aspects of production, management practices, marketing strategies, and the role of sustainable development in such industries.
The programme also emphasized the importance of teamwork, coordination, and real-world problem-solving skills. Students actively interacted with industry personnel, which helped them bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
In addition to academic learning, the visit provided a refreshing and engaging experience, promoting team bonding and enhancing overall student development. The industrial visit to Vagamon proved to be both educational and memorable, leaving a lasting impact on the participants.
OBJECTIVE OF THE VISIT:
The objective of the industrial visit was to provide students with practical exposure to real-world industry operations and to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical applications.
