Pudhumai Penn Scheme:
The Pudhumai Penn Scheme, officially known as the Moovalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar Higher Education Assurance Scheme, is a Tamil Nadu government initiative launched on September 5, 2022, aimed at promoting higher education among girl students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
Tamil Pudhalvan Scheme:
The Tamil Pudhalvan Scheme is a Tamil Nadu government initiative aimed at promoting higher education among male students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Launched by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on August 9, 2024, in Coimbatore, the scheme provides ₹1,000 per month to eligible boys pursuing undergraduate, diploma, ITI, or other recognized courses.
SC/ST Scholarship Scheme:
SC (Scheduled Caste) and ST (Scheduled Tribe) students are eligible for various scholarships in India. These scholarships are designed to help students from these communities access quality education by providing financial assistance for tuition fees, maintenance, and other expenses.
Specific Scholarship Schemes:
- Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme: This scheme provides financial support for students in classes 1 to 10.
- Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme: This scheme helps students pursuing higher education, including degree and postgraduate courses.
